Wood floor refinishing Galloway, NJ 08205
The hardwood floor you see above is the living room before and then once the floor was sanded raw. Look at the following posts for the after pictures.
This is a floor that we refinished for an Angie's List client that just bought this home in Galloway because he was transferred here by his Company. When he found us through Angie's List he was very specific about the products he wanted used on his floor because he has a brother in the construction industry and knows the best products that should be used on a hardwood floor. It just so happens he wanted Dura Seal products used which is exactly what we do use because of the quality of the product. The quality of the product used is very different across the board and we use Dura Seal because it is one of the best products on the market today and the polyurethane is a 100% oil based polyurethane that you can choose satin, semi gloss or glossy finish.
When I met with the client he was there with the owners of the house because the sale had not gone through yet and his wife wasn't there. I went over everything with the client and what we would do and gave him some suggestions. He trusted me and my ideas and hired us to do a complete hardwood floor refinishing in the living room & dining room which were when originally installed a prefinished Bruce 3/4 inch stained with the color gunstock and then we did a screen & coat on the parquet floor he had in the foyer and hallway. He had to travel out of town while we were doing the job so he could pack up and move to New Jersey. I was in constant contact with the client and sent him pictures of the process while it was happening. The hardwood floors were sanded 3 times then got a natural seal coat and then the client wanted the floors a little darker so we added some stain to the polyurethane to deepen the color for them. This client also wanted an extra coat of polyurethane. Normally you will get a seal coat and then 2 coats of 100% oil based polyurethane.
You will see in all of these pictures their red oak floors came out beautiful. This job came out great and our client was very happy with the outcome. We love making sure all of our clients are thrilled with their jobs because we take great pride in our work. Description Of Work: Megan came to our new home to give us an estimate on refinishing hard wood and parquet throughout the home. Megan was very knowledgeable and personable. She provided an estimate and a work plan on completing the refinishing prior to our moving in. Extreme floor care also assured us that they would be using a high quality oil based polyurethane product to refinish our floors which we preferred as it has a longer wearing finish than water based products. They sanded and totally refinished our hard wood and cleaned and resurfaced our parquet floors. The colors between the two different floor types where matched as the polyurethane was applied. Pictures where taken as each part of the process was being done in real time.
Member Comments: Extreme Floor care came into our home while it was empty as we where moving in from another state. We trusted Megan with our house keys to allow her workers in and supervise the work done. Megan took pictures of the works progress and kept us involved throughout the whole refinishing process. There where some issues with pet stains and cracks, Megan took pictures and e mailed them to us and we where able to collaborate on making decisions in real time as work was done. Floor refinishing is something that you don't really want a lot of extra bodies around for and even though we where in another state as the work was being done we where so well informed with photos, e-mail and phone contact that it seemed as if we where right here with her. Extreme floor Care completed the job on time and we where able to allow the floors to cure properly before moving in. We trusted Megan with our home and our keys and she was everything she promised Extreme Floor Care would be for us. I would highly recommend this company for its employees and the products they use as well as the good customer service and the professional service in sanding and refinishing the floors.
