As you can see here, another successful job completed in Brigantine, NJ 08203. It wasn’t easy, as when the house was built 7 years ago, the builder put down a polyurethane blend that did not hold up.

You can see the floor’s state from the before picture how dark and stained the old finish was and what it would look like when sanded raw.

The homeowner asked us to go in and to help them out. They asked us to match the staircase and rails (the builder left them raw) to the floor.

They hired us to refinish the first of the 3 floors, and it was arranged to do the other levels at a later date.

Joe got to work and did full sand to a raw condition that would be easy to work with. We then stained it using a Golden oak stain and then added a polyurethane coat for protection. To avoid too many fumes, we used a commercial water-based polyurethane.
