Staining hardwood floors Ocean City, NJ 08226.
The pictures you see above are the 3rd bedroom before and then sanded raw. Look for the following post for the after pictures. This is a floor that we refinished for a client, named Elizabeth Williams, who found us on Angie's List. They just bought this home and the floor was a red oak 5/16ths floor which was face nailed. That is how they use to install the old oak floors before they had 3/4 inch tongue and groove. Her testimonial is on our website under the articles tab. This home had 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, hallway and a pine staircase done. Keep looking at the articles for all the before and after pictures of the project.
When I first met with the client she wanted the floor stained brown but was not sure which tone she wanted - so we went over the different brown stains that are available and decided on special walnut when I showed her pictures of this stain on a floor. I went over the entire process with her and that the Owner of Extreme Floor Care does the work and that I would be at the job site everyday taking pictures to her as the project was happening. When she decided to go forward with us I had our Insurance Company email her a copy of our insurance and workman's comp. You should NEVER take the insurance certificate from the contractor - always have their insurance company email it to you or mail it to you that way you know their policy is in effect when they are doing your job.
When we started this floor it was sanded 3 times then a coat of the special walnut sealer/ stain was applied. We came back the next day and applied our 1st coat of 100% Dura Seal oil based polyurethane and left for the day. On the 3rd day we returned and screened the floors and applied our last coat of polyurethane which she had chosen a satin finish. As you can see by the articles that the floor came out beautiful and by her testimonial she was thrilled.
You will see in all of these pictures their oak floors came out beautiful. This job came out great and our client was very happy with the outcome. We love making sure all of our clients are thrilled with their jobs because we take great pride in our work.
