Staining Hardwood Floors Galloway, NJ 08205

The area in the pictures here is between the living room and the dining room. After sanded raw, sealed, and two coats of polyurethane applied, you can see the floor after it has been sanded raw, sealed, and two coats of polyurethane applied. The bottom picture shows the floor after it has been finished with the final coat of polyurethane applied, respectively.

This is a floor we refinished for Angie’s List client who recently purchased a home in Galloway after being moved by his employer. He was extremely precise about the goods he wanted to be used on his floor when he found us through Angie’s List because he has a brother who works in the construction industry and understands the finest products to use on a hardwood floor. He was also well aware of Joe Carfagno, “the owner Who Does Your Job.”

It just so happens that he requested Dura Seal items, which we do because of the product’s high quality. Of course, the quality of the goods used varies extensively. Still, we use Dura Seal because it is one of the best on the market today, and the polyurethane is a 100 percent oil-based polyurethane with a satin, semi-gloss, or glossy finish.

Because the transaction had not yet gone through and his wife was not present, I met with the client with the house’s owners. I went over everything with the client and what we were going to do and made some recommendations.

Process of Staining hardwood floors Galloway, NJ 08205

He hired us to do a complete hardwood floor refinishing in the living room and dining room, which was initially prefinished Bruce three-fourths inch stained with the color gunstock, and then a screen and coat on the parquet floor had in the foyer and corridor. Unfortunately, he had to leave town while we were working on collecting his belongings and relocating to New Jersey.

I kept in touch with the client and showed him images of the process as it unfolded. The hardwood floors were sanded three times before receiving a natural finish layer. The client requested that the floors be darker, so we added a stain to the polyurethane to intensify the color. This client also requested the second coat of polyurethane. A seal coat is usually applied first, followed by two coats of 100 percent oil-based polyurethane.

Their red oak floors turned out beautifully, as you can see in all of these photos. Again, this job turned done well, and our client was thrilled with the results.
