Wood floor refinishing, Ocean City, NJ 08226

This is what a new raw red oak hardwood floor installed and refinished looks like. If you buy a prefinished floor, which we also install you will have a bevel in between each board. I hate to say it but the bevel between the boards drive me and clients crazy because they are dirt catchers. The only way around this is to install a hardwood floor that is raw and have it refinished either natural or stained. This picture above is finished with a natural stain.
This is a hardwood floor installation and refinishing in Margate, NJ 08402 after Hurricane Sandy. This client was one of the many victims of hurricane Sandy and they hired us to come in and install a new hardwood floor, they chose a raw red oak floor that we installed then refinished with a natural seal coat and a glossy polyurethane. The pictures above actually show the floor raw then with a seal coat applied and the first coat of polyurethane, the next coat is applied the following day. They actually got our name from Coast Tile and Marble Supply in Egg Harbor Township. They had a lot of damage under the house from the storm, and the house started sagging, which needed to be taken care of first. Once the work was done and the floor had been ordered and sat in their house to acclimate we were ready to go into their home and install the new hardwood floor. When installing a new hardwood floor the floor should be in the house 3 to 5 days prior to the install so it can acclimate to its environment.
When we were ready to begin their job all furniture had to be off the floor. the first thing we did was install a vapor barrier on the floor before we started to install the hardwood floor.
As you can see in all of the before and after pictures the hardwood floor installation and refinishing came out beautiful and we have another thrilled client.
