This job was done in Egg Harbor Township, NJ wher the family room had carpet and the home owner wanted hardwood installed. This floor was installed with raw red oak wood then sanded, sealed and polyurethaned. This job took 2 days and the clients were thrilled. We also install prefinished hardwood floors. This client wanted to start with the raw wood because he didn't want a floor that had a bevel between the boards, which prefinished floors have a tendency to have. I call the bevel a dirt catcher and if you have one of these floors you know what I am talking about. This floor has a natural seal coat and a satin finish.
